When I log into internet banking, do I have to use the 12 digit ID all the time?
You only need that number the first time you sign-in. Once you've entered into the netteller program choose "options" from the top toolbar. The following screen will guide you through changing your information, such as your e-mail address, password, login ID, and password reset question.
For security purposes it is recommended that ID's and passwords not be personal (SSN, DOB, anniversary, etc.) or written down. Should you forget what you have changed your password to we can reset the program for you.

How do I pay a bill online?
Log on to www.fnbns.com. Click on the Netteller icon. From the top toolbar choose "Bill Payment". If it is a new payment, choose "Add Payee" from the blue toolbar and fill in boxes as provided. Click on "Search" - our system will check for payees that will accept electronic payments. If no electronic matches are found, you will be taken to a screen to set them up so the system will mail them a check. A number of payees can be added all at once or over time.
Once your payees are set up, to make payments, click "New Payment" also found on the blue toolbar. From there, you will be brought to the "Quick Payment" screen where you can choose which one of your payees to pay. Follow the screens as provided, when you get to the last page, you must hit "Confirm" to send your payment.
To see the status of what you have accomplished choose "Main" from the blue toolbar. It will take you to your scheduled payments where you can view, edit and delete what you have keyed in at this point or leave as is for processing. Bills are paid 2 times per day. Items before noon are collected in one batch and mailed same day and the after noon requests are collected in another batch and mailed early the following morning.
